Radium Technologies — Agentic Engineering Studio
§ 00.0 Studio / Agentic Engineering / Ojai · MMXXVI

Intelligence, on the inside /

Artificial Intelligence, meets Actualized Intention.

Radium Technologies builds the operating systems that run complex physical operations — agents, memory, schema, voice, hardware, all on one substrate. Workflows that complete, not features that demo. Built inside the operation, not for it.

§ INTERLUDE

The model is the easy part.

§ 00.5
Context

The squeeze, /
and the slot we built
for.

The agentic enterprise market is being shaped by a four-way squeeze. Frontier labs are moving down-stack — Anthropic and OpenAI standing up forward-deployed engineering arms and shipping vertical agent templates, telling buyers directly that the model is not the moat. Consultancies are moving up-stack — McKinsey, BCG, Accenture, PwC building agentic delivery practices and bringing engineers into accounts.

Systems of record are exposing agent APIs — Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday turning every workflow into a call on their platform, on their permissions, against their audit trail. And private equity has become a distribution channel — financing the lab and consultancy deployment vehicles, then using portfolio companies as the deployment surface.

Inside that squeeze, the value is in the workflow that gets completed. Not in the model. Not in the dashboard. Not in the chatbot. The companies that win own the implementation layer — the schema, the authority boundaries, the evals, the audit, the recovery, the operator's actual work made structural.

Radium is built for that slot. We do not sell wrappers. We do not sell co-pilots. We build operating systems for industries where the work is physical, the data is messy, and the trust is broken — and the schema, the agents, the hardware, the apps, and the data network all belong to the same substrate.

Practice

What we do, /
and how it shows up
in production.

§ 01.1 Agents

Agentic systems as substrate.

The harness around the model — workflow design, authority boundaries, routed retrieval, evals, audit, recovery. We build the implementation layer that decides whether an agent does real work, then own it end-to-end. Not features bolted on top.

§ 01.2 Schema

Schema as product.

The business object made structural — not a generic CRM row, but the batch, the receiving event, the cure cycle, encoded with their own constraints, permissions, and audit. Exact math. First-class events. The database isn't plumbing — it's the substrate an agent inherits.

Postgres Supabase Business objects RLS
§ 01.3 Memory

Progressive memory.

Three-layer memory — live, operational, archetypal — with compressed embeddings (Johnson–Lindenstrauss projection, polar quantization) and gated persistence. Knowledge that compounds and shrinks as it ages.

Vector JL projection PolarQuant Gated
§ 01.4 Voice

Voice & conversational interfaces.

TTS, STT, VAD, barge-in, continuous listening, choreography of turn-taking. Voice that works in noisy industrial environments and on a lab floor — not just in a browser demo.

Whisper VAD Barge-in Choreography
§ 01.5 Hardware

Instrument & hardware integration.

Near-infrared scanners, IoT sensor fleets, edge-to-cloud pipelines, custom firmware. The point where physical measurement meets the data model — modelled correctly, calibrated, owned.

NIR IoT Edge Firmware
§ 01.6 Delivery

Full-stack delivery.

Frontend, backend, mobile, Electron, deployment. Concept to shipped product, owned end-to-end — with ADRs, production-readiness plans, and the operational hygiene that lets small teams ship like larger ones.

Embed 01

Operator-embedded.

We learn the operation before we build for it. On the floor, in the lab, in the loop — not from a spec handed across a table.

Schema 02

Schema-first.

Every engagement starts with the data model. Get the schema right and most of the product is already designed. Get it wrong and every app on top rots.

Substrate 03

Agents as substrate.

Tool-use, memory, and voice are the engineering layer — not features to demo. We build the plumbing that lets agents act reliably and be replaced later.

Ship 04

Products, not decks.

We deliver working systems your team can run, extend, and own. No leave-behind slide deck. No dependency we don't want you to outgrow.
